One easy way to run Linux commands in Windows is to use Windows Terminal. You can download it from Microsoft Store as follows:
Once installed you can open the terminal, the default setting is for PowerShell (PS) and you can switch to Ubuntu from the menu dropdown list:
Then you can enter Linux command as you like:
